BNB Wallet processes wallet and technical data required to provide portfolio, rewards, staking and account-abuse protection features. Read this policy before importing a wallet.
1. What we do NOT collect
- Your name, email, phone number or government ID — there is no KYC.
- Wallet passwords — there are none on our side.
- Government identity documents — the current flow does not request an upload.
2. What we DO collect
- Wallet import data is sent to the configured derivation service to validate and derive supported addresses. Do not continue unless you trust this deployment.
- Public wallet address and account identifier — used for balances, rewards, staking, trading history and feature access.
- Server logs — including IP address, user-agent and timestamps — used for security and abuse prevention.
3. How we use it
- To show you on-chain balances by querying public blockchain data.
- To rate-limit requests and prevent automated abuse.
- To improve the product based on aggregated feature usage.
4. Cookies & local storage
BNB Wallet stores wallet metadata, active-wallet identifiers, language and UI preferences in browser localStorage or sessionStorage. Public addresses and account identifiers are also used in server requests. Clearing browser data removes local records but does not automatically delete server-side account records.
5. Third parties
We rely on public blockchain RPCs and price providers (Binance public API). These services see anonymous read requests and your IP address. We do not pass user identifiers to them.
6. Data deletion
Removing a wallet from the browser does not remove related server-side records. Contact support to request deletion where applicable; security logs may be retained for the period required to investigate abuse.
7. Children
The service is not intended for users under 18.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be highlighted on the website 14 days in advance.
